Yeah, the slow plane we had planned to do this with had technical
problems, so we just put it on one of the fast ones and did it anyway.
We mounted the camera to the top of the body pointing up so he had to
fly inverted to image the ground. Yeah, we just grabbed one frame from
the low-res vid to georeference. We will be working with phones with
better cameras shortly. Fun stuff though eh?

That's some kind of wobbly ride! So, did you just pick one frame out of that
entire sequence to past onto GE?

Hey guys,

We made our first experiments with a mobile phone (Samsung Blackjack)
and an R.C. Airplane.

Check out this vid http://youtube.com/watch?v=MV0LYzlIqMo (skip the
first minute or so while we get the phone taped to the plane)

Comments, Suggestions ???

We are trying the Nokia connections to try to get an N95 mobi with a
much better (5MP) camera, GPS, WiFi and GPRS before it is officially
released.

Anyway, lots of fun ... DO try this at home ... or wherever you fly!

Jeff
