Hi, I'm looking for a free (speech or beer) lightweight gps app for an ipaq (windows mobile 5) with an attached gps unit. I've found what looks like a 'quadzillion' of them with google but it mostly seems they are either time limited, crippled badly or cause my ipaq to lock up. It's been a long time since I was used to searching for windows software and I think my lack of expertise is showing up (would be nice if I could apt-get install on my ipaq. *shrug* never mind). Is anyone able to point me to an app that can satisfy the following simple needs?
* Capture point and polyline data with associated attribute info. * Configure continuous data capture rate (time and/or distance) * Discrete data capture on demand (ie, not continuous) * Output needs to be in a format GPSbabel can cope with. * No need to display or manage base map data. I'm only wanting to import collected point/polyline data into PostGIS for other apps to display or manipulate. * Waypoint navigation nice but not required. I don't think I've set the bar very high but I've had no luck finding anything that suits. Thanks, Tim Bowden Mapforge Geospatial _______________________________________________ Geowanking mailing list [email protected] http://lists.burri.to/mailman/listinfo/geowanking
