I think most of you know about Skyhook already, so I probably don't need to go into that. But we have some new positions open that are really pertinent to this group. First we have an opening for Data Specialist or what I like to call a Data Freak. We have built up massive amounts of data (over 5.4 BILLION records) and want to bring someone on to help us understand the data better. We want to find someone to dive in and pull out all the useful nuggets. And the best part is that most of it will end up being geo-visualized to help us better understand it. So people with data mining, SQL, perl, GIS experience are great -- but more importantly we are just looking for "wicked smahrt" people that want to come work in a great environment (obviously in Boston). The role is going to be helping us take Loki to the next level with a pretty kick ass new web application that we have been planning for a while that will tie real-time location together with messaging and presence.
