Avoid it if you don't want to read about patents, but, it's an
interesting overview of the technology involved.
I believe that it was announced only a couple of days ago. In the Google
Earth blog there's another article reference of note too. Michael Jones
(another KeyHole founder) wrote "Google’s Geospatial Organizing
Principle" for IEEE Computer Graphics and Applications magazine. Here's
