First-time posting to the list.
Anyway, just finished setting up a new site called BlinkGeo...it's a
Digg-like web site that I hope will be used by Geowankers like us to
share information in a new way. I was really bummed to see that
Slashgeo is closing/on hiatus, and I hope that BlinkGeo will serve as a
complementary type of site. Folks can post news items, articles,
stories, blog posts, etc., and, through user-participation, relevant
and/or popular information should come to light.

I truly do hope that this will provide a valuable avenue for us to share
information (in addition to the Geowanking list of course) with each other.
