Terry,
Tyler's interest makes me suspect that there would be a large number of international geospatial developers interested in the web conference.

You are welcome to attend the Canadian Web Conference for the Canadian Geospatial Data Infrastructure Interoperability Pilot at 12:00 noon (EST Ottawa time). We will be sending out the invitation for this later this week. I will copy David Sampsom on this email. He will add you to the list of attendee and will send out the connection info for the teleconference. Cheers
Terry

Tyler, you are welcome to attend the Australian presentation, but you
may prefer to attend the Canadian presentation, which I believe will be
12:00pm November 30. Ottawa time.

     Key Drivers:

Access to *current* and *nationwide* geospatial data is critical to
many tasks and decisions, but until now, such access has been
difficult. Government departments found it hard to share information
and synchronize databases with the latest updates. This is a
significant problem, because data can change daily.

     Project achievements:

After six years of standards and product development, a group of
public and private sector participants came together in the Canadian
Geospatial Data Infrastructure Interoperability Pilot, or CGDI. This
Pilot culminated in a nation-wide demonstration of standards-based
products that make immediate access to *current* data a reality. The
CGDI Pilot showed that municipal, provincial and territorial
authorities can now update data and automatically make their
up-to-date data available online in real time to those who need it,
anywhere across Canada. This presentation shows how the improved way
of distributing and updating data works.

Technical details for the webcast and teleconference are currently
being tested and finalized. An email will be sent to all interested
parties a couple of days before the presentation, and a timeslot will
be allocated beforehand for participants to dial in and try the webex
conference software.

Feel free to forward this email onto others you feel may be interested.
