Hi all, I'm looking for a "reasonably" accurate source of polygon data for the boundaries of the historical counties of Great Britain. I'm aware of the Great Britain Historical Geographical Information System but it seems the data there is only available to academics for academic use. Are there any other sources that anyone can point me towards?
As a point of interest, did the county boundaries change much over time? I know the current LGA county boundaries are in a state of constant flux, but I'm only really interested in the historic county boundaries.
