Agreed, though this is changing. Businesses & developers are just
becoming aware of the ubiquity and power of geo-enabled applications
and data. See the common interest around the Eye-Fi that adds
geotagging via standard SD-card. I can definitely imagine about 2
years down the road where geotagged photos are as common as being
time-stamped.
