here's a few more similar use cases, that i've been thinking about:

1.  a translucent blob of wifi signal strength overlay on a streetview through the viewfinder of my mobile.

2. similar browseable mar  (= mobile augmented reality) view of air quality e.g. oxygen count,  or particulate/ pollen/pollution types...
