We need geowanking. If we need to suit it up and make it VC friendly, we can call it GeoWanking, Inc., or GeoWanking, Ph.D. to make the academia happy. For those with class-aspirations, how about GeoWanking, Esq.
Maybe iGeowanking for those of us who admire the bondi-blue iMacs. Otherwise, let geowanking be. And, it is ok if there are a few who don't understand what wanking means. For those who do, it serves as a source of a quite chuckle. And those who get their knickers in a knot over VGI can piss off as well. It is as good a term as geowanking is in all its expression and shortcomings alike.
