We would like to announce an important reminder and some new information about 
the upcoming annual meeting of the Association for Environmental Studies and 
Sciences (AESS), to be held in Portland, Oregon on June 17-21, 2010:

(1) Please remember that the deadline for registration for the 2010 AESS 
Conference is May 14.  Please visit the following site to register online:

At this page, you will be able to

 *   register for the conference
 *   pre-pay for meals
 *   sign up for workshops and field trips
 *   reserve accommodations if you plan to stay in the residence halls on campus

If you are planning to stay in downtown Portland, you will see a link that 
takes you to information on hotels with block rates for AESS members attending 
the conference.


(2) We have also created a summary schedule of events ("meeting at a glance"):
