Dear Colleagues: I am teaching an environment and politics course in the fall which focuses on U.S. policy with some attention to local environmental issues. I would like students to undertake an individual assignment that gets them out of the classroom. In the past, they have met with interest groups, attending meetings or hearings and interviewing officers. Any thoughts are appreciated. I teach at Adelphi University which is located just outside of NYC.
Thanks in advance for your ideas or experiences, Regina Axelrod
