This position will be held by a distinguished scholar and dedicated educator with an international reputation. The position will be based in the Elliott School's Center for International Science and Technology Policy and will begin in academic year 2011-12. Basic qualifications: A Ph.D. in a relevant social science discipline or inter-disciplinary field with expertise in environmental challenges such as: sustainable development in relation to the environment; climate change, energy, and natural resource issues; environmental security; and national and international policy options. Applicants must have a record of sustained and continuing high-quality research, substantial teaching experience, and a clear interest in policy issues that will support the Elliott School's mission.
