Hi
The International Institute for Sustainalbe Development (the folks that
publish ENB) have been doing a big project on trade and climate with some
interesting analyses, at least from presentations I¹ve seen check out
their website at iisd.ca.

Subject: [gep-ed] climate and trade liberalization?

Hi Folks,

One of our MA students is working on her thesis proposal and could use some
direction on sources/people to talk to about the relationship(s) between
climate change and trade liberalization. Her specific research questions are
listed below. Any advice would be much appreciated--please just e-mail me
and I'll post the compiled responses to the list in a few days.

Thanks much,
dgwebster

Hi DG-
Thanks for meeting on Friday to chat about my thesis. I appreciate it. Here
are the questions which are central to my thesis:

How will liberalizing the global market for green jobs and green
technologies contribute or detract from global sustainability (ie, mitigate
climate change)?
-Are climate change policies being leveraged to further the aim of
liberalizing the global market place?

Thank you for your help.- Wynne
