Hi Folks, The Environmental Studies Department at USC is looking to hire someone in the social sciences who can teach on a broad range of topics, including environmental economics and business and the environment with environmental politics as a possibility as well. The successful applicant would also have to be willing and able to team teach intro/mid level courses on environment and society with natural/physical scientists in the department and might possibly work with the director of the program to create summer experiential learning experience abroad (they already have programs in Belize, Guam, and Palau). This is a one-year teaching appointment with probable renewal given good performance. I held this position before coming to Dartmouth and can say that it's an interesting and exciting program that's really taken off in the last few years. More details are available via the link below, but feel free to contact the program director, Jim Haw ([email protected]) directly.
