Hi Folks: I'm the book review editor for Global Environmental Politics. Most reviews I commission individually (and if you'd like to be on the list of people I might contact, please send me an email with your basic info and areas of expertise/interest). But periodically when I have books I haven't been able to find reviewers for, I put out a general call for volunteers. This is that call.
Please let me know if you're interested in reviewing one of these books. Your odds of getting to review a specific book increase if you're willing to commit to a September 1st deadline (and meet it . . .); so let me know if you'd be willing do the review by September 1st. A review is between 800 and 900 words in length. Here are the books: Philip Stalley, Foreign Firms, Investment, and Environmental Regulation in the People's Republic of China (Stanford) Irene Dankelman (ed.), Gender and Climate Change: An Introduction (Earthscan) JoAnn Carin and Julian Agyeman, eds., Environmental Inequalities Beyond Borders: Local Perspectives on Global Injustices (MIT) Douglas A. Kysar, Regulating from Nowhere: Environmental Law and the Search for Objectivity (Yale) Pádraig Carmody, The New Scramble for Africa (Polity) Kerri Woods, Human Rights and Environmental Sustainability (Edward Elgar) Thanks, Beth Elizabeth R.
