For those of you who may be considering participating in the
Association of American Geographers (AAG) meeting in New York next
February, Diana Liverman (Univ of Arizona), Adam Bumpus (Univ of
Melbourne), Tracey Osborne (Univ of Arizona), Mike Goodman (Kings
College London) and I are planning a set of sessions with this title:

'Surviving 2012: Global environmental change, sociopolitical
challenges and prospects for constructive engagements [in Rio,
Washington, Durban and local communities]'

Please see the attached pdf for more information.

If you're interested in submitting your paper to the session(s) send
your abstract (250 words maximum) by Sept 20 to Diana Liverman
([email protected]) and me ([email protected]).

Be sure to include your AAG program identification number (PIN) that
you get when you register for the conference.
