To: IPE Section Members From: Aseem Prakash, IPE Section Chair The International Studies Association's International Political Economy Section seeks to recognize the best dissertation completed and accepted in the previous two years (2009-2011 for the 2012 award) in the field of international political economy. A ten page summary of the dissertation along with the nomination letter from the dissertation committee chair/member should be emailed to the IPE Dissertation Award Committee latest by October 1, 2011. The IPE Best Dissertation Award Committee will short-list three dissertations and invite the submission of the full dissertations. The winner will be announced at the IPE section meeting in San Diego in April 2012 and will receive a framed certificate and check for $100.
