Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme 2012/13 The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) 2012/13 is now opened for application (it has been started on 1 September 2011). Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme 2012/13 Established by the Research Grants Council (RGC) in 2009, the prestigious “Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme” has brought over two hundred top students from thirty-one countries/regions to Hong Kong to undertake PhD studies in various fields. For the September 2012/13 intake, we are now looking for talented people who wish to pursue their PhD studies in HKIEd through the HK PhD Fellowship Scheme 2012/13. About the award The Fellowship will provide a monthly stipend of HK$20,000 (approx. US$2,600) and a conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$10,000 (approx. US$1,300) per year up to three years. Who can apply Candidates seeking admission as new full-time PhD students in the eight institutions in Hong Kong including the Hong Kong Institute of Education, irrespective of their country of origin, prior work experience, and ethnic background.
