Dear Colleagues, The University of Massachusetts Boston will soon begin accepting applications for its new PhD program in Global Governance and Human Security. This interdisciplinary program seeks to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to address a number of contemporary global concerns, including economic welfare and human development, environmental sustainability, public health, education, human rights, and political freedomand on the interrelationships among them.
Housed within the Department of Conflict Resolution, Human Security, and Global Governance at the John W. McCormack Graduate School of Policy and Global Studies, the program is a collaborative effort of the McCormack Graduate School, the College of Liberal Arts, the College of Science and Mathematics, and the College of Management.
