Alex Foster is a young environmentalist planning to ride a solar
powered tricycle across the country to raise awareness about climate
change and related global issues. In preparation for his journey, Alex is
speaking to college classes and at public events, and otherwise seeking to
connect with environmental groups across the country. Might you be
interested in hosting him? (That is, if Alex came to your town, would you
be interested in having him speak to your classes or otherwise arranging a
speaking engagement for him?)
Alex spoke in my class, "International Environmental Politics,"
and students found the presentation quite meaningful. Alex is an example
of someone who has made a significant life decision based on the growing
