Hello Dr. Mitchell,
I'm a student of environmental geosciences and policy at the
University of Colorado considering graduate school for 2013, and my
interests appear to align nicely with yours: I am very interested in
studying the effectiveness of international environmental agreements. In
particular, I am fascinated with the literature currently making a case for
protecting (the poorly-named) environmental refugees under the auspices of
existing agreements like the Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees.
My question for you: do you or anyone else at the University of Oregon do
any work in this field, or would it be feasible to pursue my research
interests with the guidance of any faculty there?
I realize that it may not be standard convention to contact faculty
directly about this, but it seems like the quickest way to get conversations
