The Department of Politics and International Relations invites applications at 
all ranks to fill a tenured/tenure-track position with preference for an 
advanced candidate.  We seek a scholar engaged in international relations 
research with a focus on environmental issues.  Subject to budget availability, 
the start date will be on or about August 26, 2013.  Advanced candidates should 
have a distinguished record or a history of external funding.  Entry-level 
applicants should have a Ph.D. in International Relations/Studies or Political 
Science or expect to have it by the start date.  The successful candidate will 
be committed to teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in 
international relations and to working in an interdisciplinary environment. The 
Department is home to more than 1,800 undergraduate majors, over 100 graduate 
students, and 40 full-time faculty in the School of International and Public 
Affairs.
