*We are in the midst of a crisis. *Today, the illegal trade of wildlife
has reached epidemic proportions and threatens the success of decades of
on-the-ground efforts to protect tigers, elephants, rhinos and other
species.

Conservation crimes weaken government authority, wreak economic havoc,
threaten food security, endanger the lives of rangers and community
members, and rob nations of their valuable natural resources. *We cannot
stand idly by and allow this to happen. *

In conjunction with our Stop Wildlife Crime campaign, WWF is reaching
out to international experts to explore new scientific advancements,
innovative technologies, and tough policy measures to turn the tide
against brutal organized crime networks that are pushing many of our
most iconic species toward extinction.

*Fuller Symposium 2012: Conservation Crime* brings together a diverse
set of thought leaders to share their insights on the roles science,
innovation and policy can play in combating illegal wildlife trade.

*We invite you to join us November 14 in Washington, D.C., for this
important event. The event is free but seating is limited, so please
RSVP now and join us.*
