*Visiting Assistant Professor: Environmental Politics and Policy Methods –

The Department of Political Science at the University of Cincinnati seeks
to hire a Visiting Assistant Professor in Environmental Policy. This is a
one-year, non-tenure eligible appointment beginning on August 15, 2013,
with the possibility of renewal.  The candidate will be expected to teach 6
courses over two semesters at the graduate or undergraduate levels, and
assist in advising undergraduate students. This position is housed in the
Department of Political Science with responsibilities in the Environmental
Studies Program. We seek candidates who possess skills in a mixture of
evaluation methods, who can integrate these in the study of public policy.
The successful candidate must be skilled in public policy process and
development with an ability to teach environmental politics and courses
related to sustainability. The successful candidate will also have the
ability to teach quantitative research methods courses. PhD must be in hand
