The Department of International Relations at Boston University invites 
applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level 
(subject to final budgetary approval). Area of specialization: International 
Relations of Latin America. The department has a strong preference for a 
scholar who specializes in South America, particularly Brazil, with a focus on 
environment, health, and/or development. We welcome applications from all 
relevant disciplines, including environmental studies, development studies, 
political science, sociology, anthropology, history, public health, and 
international affairs.

The position requires commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching, as 
well as research. Publications and exemplary teaching experience required. 
Ph.D. must be completed by the time of appointment. The expected start date for
