Greetings colleagues, forgive the overlap if you are on both lists-but I wanted to publicize an opening we have here at the University of Central Florida (Orlando) in security studies in line with the PhD in security studies we began offering this Fall. The Department of Political Science invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position beginning in August 2014 in the field of security studies, broadly defined. The individual selected will be active with the department's new Ph.D. program in Security Studies, and therefore we expect candidates to show evidence of scholarship and an active research agenda.
