Dear GEP-eders and AESS (sorry for 2x post):
Just a reminder that the third of our five-part webinar series on International Environmental Security Issues happens today (Dec 3) at 1:15 EST. You can log in at www.securityandsustainabilityforum.org to listen live. Each of the webinars revolves around an environmental security issue: disease and public health, food, and geo-engineering. The panelists do not know how the scenario will unfold, so they have to think on their feet to answer questions! (The first and second webinars are archived at the site, for use by university classes, non-profit orgs, interested citizens, etc.) Today’s webinar addresses public health and security, and what happens when a new virus appears in an isolated area and then breaks out… I am having a very good response to this format, and all credit goes to the panelists and the audience, who send me great questions. If anyone is interested in being a panelist for a future webinar, please let me know. Cheers to everyone! -Beth _____________________________ Elizabeth L.
