Greetings,

I'm writing to ask for recommended readings in environmental leadership for
Masters level students.

I'm interested in environmental-focused leadership readings, but I am also
particularly keen to know what generic or non-environment specific leadership
readings people might use. It is essentially a new prep although I've used
everything from the Goldman Prize winner profiles and Jeff Langholz's analysis
of their comparative strategies to autobiographies of Wangari Maathai and
Russell Train for environmental leadership segments in other classes. The Sage
Environmental Leadership Reference Handbook looks comprehensive but 1000 pages
and $325 is prohibitive for my students.

This cohort is comprised of students from a wide spectrum of disciplines within
our Masters of Science in Environmental Studies here at Ohio University in
Athens (my hometown where I've moved to from DC and the Wilson Center). So we
have great variation in discipline, geographic level of focus, and conception
of the environment just to make it interesting. Naturally I am inclined to push
them in the directions covered by GEPED discussions in the international and
political space. But all suggestions most welcome.

Best,
Geoff
