2014-2015**at the University of Potsdam, Germany*
The postgraduate Master of Public Management (MPM) at the University of
Potsdam is a science-based and practice-oriented mid-career program
designed to meet the demand for appropriately trained managerial staff
in the public sector. It is offered with three specialization streams:
.The *Public Policy and Administration (PPA)* stream is designed to
equip public sector professionals with the analytical and practical
skills required to meet society's need for improved efficiency and
effectiveness in public management.
.With a similar orientation, the *Global Public Policy (GPP)* stream
provides the framework to meet the challenges of managing public
policies that transcend national borders.
.The *GeoGovernance (GG)* stream, based on a strong collaboration with
the prestigious Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) and
the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences, allows students to focus
parts of their studies on managing risks emerging from natural disasters
and climate change.
