Hi All. It is a clearly stated requirement that the awardee has to be a member of the organization (I think this is now true of all their awards, and they've started enforcing this sort of thing in the last couple of years in a way that wasn't previously the case).
I should note though that awardees have to be a member of the organization at the time the award is given (i.e. at the conference). They do not have to be members to be nominated. So the committee could choose a book written by a non-member, and that person would then need to join to actually get the award. Is this a new requirement, or have I've been out to lunch? Have we had past non-ISA award winners?
