*Teaching Term Position in Political Science*

Grenfell Campus is a small (1300 students) liberal arts and science 
institution at the Corner Brook Campus of Memorial University of 
Newfoundland. At Grenfell Campus, our emphasis is on small-class 
environments and teaching excellence in distinctive multi and 
interdisciplinary degree programs. We offer four-year Bachelor’s degrees in 
Arts, Fine Arts, Science, Social Science and Nursing, plus graduate 
programming in the Environmental Policy Institute. 

The Division of Social Science at Grenfell Campus, Memorial University of 
Newfoundland invites applications for an 8 month teaching term position in 
Political Science (Environmental Studies program) at the rank of visiting 
assistant professor or lecturer beginning September 1, 2014 and ending 
April 30, 2015. 

*Political Science:* The successful candidate will be expected to cover a 
regular teaching load in support of the Environmental Studies Major. The 
candidate will be expected to teach Introduction to Political Science, 
Introduction to Public Policy and Administration, Politics and the 
Environment, plus three other political science courses such as 
Introduction to International Politics and Introduction to Canadian 
Politics and Government. A Ph.D. (or near completion) is preferred in 
Political Science or a cognate discipline. Applicants should refer to the
