I need not tell you just how bad things are in this area, and that the 
prospects for something like a reversal in biodiversity loss or climate change 
look grim. This book is my attempt to explain the basics of sustainability from 
a systems perspective and lay out our situation for an undergraduate and lay 
audience in the most accessible language I could muster.

I am happy to continue conversations about the topic, related pedagogy, or 
questions about the book off list if anyone is interested.
