I would like to take this opportunity to alert you to a new book, Transparency in Global Environmental Governance: Critical Perspectives (MIT Press), that I have co-edited with Michael Mason. The book analyzes how "governance by disclosure" is working in the global environmental realm, with case studies covering issue-areas of climate change, biodiversity, biotechnology, chemicals, extractive industries, forests, fisheries, and corporate sustainability performance, among others.
