The University of Toronto invites
applications for one joint tenure-stream appointment in the Department of
Political Science (51%) and the School of Environment (49%). The
appointment is at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of
Environmental Politics and will commence on July 1, 2015.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. at the time of appointment or shortly
thereafter. The ideal candidate will focus on theoretical and empirical
issues of Environmental Politics in a global or comparative perspective.
Scholars with expertise in climate change, energy and natural resources,
or global environmental governance are especially welcome to apply.
Teaching responsibilities will be split across the two units. Applicants
must demonstrate evidence of excellence in research and teaching. Salary
to be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

We seek
applications from candidates whose research program fits well with the
Department and with the interdisciplinary focus of the School. The
appointee will contribute to the education and training of undergraduate
and graduate students in both the Department and the School. We encourage
