*Call for Expressions of Interest: Assistant Editor, Society & Natural Resources*
The incoming editors of *Society & Natural Resources*, official monthly journal of the International Association for Society and Natural Resources, are soliciting formal expressions of interest by individuals interested in a part-time, 12 month, term appointment as Assistant Editor of the journal. The Assistant Editor manages the day-to-day receipt, screening, processing, preparation, and submission of manuscripts, among other tasks and responsibilities. To begin in early *summer 2015*, s/he will work approximately 20 hrs. per week, under the supervision of and in close cooperation with the incoming Editors in Chief, Dr. David Sonnenfeld, Dept. of Environmental Studies, SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY-ESF), and Dr. Peter Leigh Taylor, Dept. of Sociology, Colorado State University (CSU). The appointment may take one of several forms: a *graduate student* at SUNY-ESF, Syracuse, NY, or at CSU, Fort Collins, CO; a *part-time/ visiting instructor* at one of the two institutions; or an *independent contractor*/ vendor.
