This two year position would begin in the fall of 2015 and be based at the Berkeley Energy and Climate Institute (BECI), a campus-wide coordinating entity for energy and climate research at UC Berkeley and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. http://beci.berkeley.edu/research/beci-fellowship-program/ The fellowship is designed to attract top recent PhD graduates who are interested in pursuing work that fosters interdisciplinary collaboration at Berkeley, which has great strengths in both energy- and climate-related disciplines. Furthermore, BECI is interested in applicants working on climate mitigation, impacts, and/or adaptation, not just energy research that contributes to mitigation. In addition to a generous compensation package, the fellowship comes with a $25k annual research fund. Applications are due on February 28th.
