Dear colleagues,

The deadline to apply for University of Waterloo PhD programs is rapidly
approaching (Feb 1) and I would like to highlight two funded PhD positions that
I am offering. This work is multi-disciplinary, action-oriented, and has the
opportunity for travel and/or scholarly exchange. The project themes are
"Governance of sustainability and small business innovation in cities" and
"Transformative climate change adaptation and mitigation in Canadian
communities."

In particular I am seeking expertise/interest in some sub-set of: multi-level
governance, sustainability transitions, social-ecological systems,
sustainability entrepreneurship/management, and urban planning.

If you know of Master's students who are particularly excellent and might be
interested a PhD, or are yourself one such student, please consider and/or
share the attached notice.

Thank you all in advance for your help!
