The Department of International Development at LSE is looking for a Fellow 
(Part-time/Full time - fixed term)

To teach (at MSc level):  “Environmental Problems and Development 
Interventions” DV413 and/or “Global Environmental Governance” DV415.

These two courses explore key debates in social and political approaches to 
environment and development. DV413 deals with themes such as local scale 
challenges of resource scarcity, gender and environment, livelihoods and 
vulnerability, institutions and adaptation to scarcity, and multi-level 
governance connecting local concerns with global policies; DV415 addresses the 
politics of making and implementing global environmental policy in the context 
of developing countries, and has focused on policies and contestations 
concerning climate change, biodiversity, and forests.

Candidates should:
 - Be nearing completion of your PhD or in the planning/early stages of 
post-doctoral research in international development or a field relevant to 
these courses
- Ideally have some research experience in a developing country
- Demonstrable ability to contribute to the teaching of International 
Development, especially concerning environment and development
