__________________________

*most of these feature films have been widely distributed and/or broadcast in
much of North America. Many small, award-winning green films, especially short
films, have not been included but deserve to be added to any comprehensive list
of important environmentally-themed films.

Cheers,

Monty

Subject: [gep-ed] Request for suggestions of environmental films (focus on
water and/or climate change)

Dear all,

It seems to me like this request comes up on a regular basis, but for the life
of me, I can't find the GEP-ED thread where people summarized suggestions of
environmentally-focused films.

And my request is specific to water and climate change (though WASTE the
documentary about informal waste recyclers in Brazil who create art through
their waste is an excellent one).

I'd prefer popular movies with an environmental focus, and then documentaries,
but I'll accept all suggestions. I promise to summarize all suggestions (and
perhaps put them online on my website for future reference for others?)

Yours,
Raul

PS - to the many of you who I saw/got to hang out at ISA 2015, so great to see
you!
