Dear GEP colleagues,

Does anyone know something about the open access journal AIMS Environmental
Science? I've been asked to review a submission but have never heard of the
journal, and a quick review of their website does little to clarify its
status for me.

Here's what their email says: "AIMS Environmental Science is a new
international Open Access journal, which is published by AIMS Press (
http://aimspress.com/aimspress/ch/first_menu.aspx?parent_id=20130723021634001).
We aim to publish high quality papers quickly and free of charge in the
initial three years."

Any insight would be appreciated.
Best,
John Meyer
