The Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington
University invites applications for a tenure-track position to begin in
fall 2016. We are seeking applicants specializing in the field of energy
and the environment, with a special focus on international and domestic
policy in one or more of the areas of: renewable energy, energy storage,
energy security, climate change, water resources, natural resource policy,
or biosecurity. The successful applicant will teach graduate and
undergraduate courses in the field, conduct research and produce
scholarship and policy analysis of important aspects of energy and the
environment, and engage the broader academic and policy communities. This
appointment is at the beginning or advanced assistant professor level, and
will be housed in the Elliott School’s Center for International Science and
Technology Policy, with affiliation to the appropriate disciplinary
department or the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public
Administration.
