The areas of research and teaching expertise within the nonprofit sub-field are open. Candidates applying for appointment as an associate professor should have a strong record of research and publications and an active research program. Candidates for appointment as an assistant professor should demonstrate high promise as a researcher and an appropriate research agenda. Additional experience in or a commitment to teaching courses in research methods, policy analysis, or environmental sustainability is highly-desirable. Faculty are expected to share responsibility for committee assignments, provide advice to students in the nonprofit management specialization within the MPA program, and collaborate with the School's Center for Nonprofit Strategy and Management. Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required are the ability to teach successfully, demonstrated scholarship or achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
