I thought some of you may find interesting a special issue we recently launched in Cities and the Environment: Urban Vacant Land and Community Access. The special issue builds on the Vacant Acres symposium TEDC at The New School hosted together with 596 Acres in April 2014. It is unique in that it emphasizes perspectives of practitioners working on the ground in the transformation of urban vacant land through a series of practitioner notes as well as research papers.
