*Call for Applications is starting now!*

>From global sea-level rise to extreme events like floods or droughts, the
third Potsdam Summer School will focus on long-term climate change impacts
and the challenge of dealing with them.

>From September 05 until September 14, renowned experts from Potsdam and
abroad will share their insights into approaches to climate change impacts
and work together with Summer School participants to develop concrete
proposals for dealing with such impacts in future. The Summer School is
geared towards young professionals, post-docs and future decision-makers
from research institutes, government agencies, NGOs and the private sector.
Applications from around the world are welcome and the Potsdam Summer
School will be an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and initiate
future co operations.

An intense ten-day programme will address topics like:



·         Discovering Planetary Boundaries

·         Identifying and Forecasting the Impacts

·         Assessing the Impacts

·         Fostering the Dialogue with Stakeholders and the Public



*The application process for the international Summer School is now open
until 15 April 2016.*

The organisers welcome applications from up-and-coming scholars and young
professionals with different backgrounds, who will come together to debate
the impacts of climate change and how to deal with them.

The entire Summer School will be conducted in English. It is organised by
