Dear GEP: Happy End of the Semester. Some here are interested in creating a course that examines sustainability issues by examining campus operations. I know that some schools offer such courses, e.g. "Campus Sustainability."
I would be greatly interested in receiving: A) examples of titles and schools for such courses that have been taught in the last 10 years or so; and B) copies of recent syllabi if you are willing to share. Long-time GEPers might note that I made a similar request in 2010 or so. However, other exigencies prevented us from creating such a course. I now have the opportunity to develop and teach it, perhaps as early as Spring 2017. Following the norm, I will share the list of courses with the list and also share any syllabi that individuals request that I share. I will not share with the list any syllabi that the author does not want shared. Also, as some of you know, there are ongoing syllabi collection projects. So if a recent syllabi is already in one of those, please tell me and I will include that information in the list I send out to GEP.
