Gep-ed, STEP & IR colleagues, I want to draw your attention to the Interdisciplinary PhD program in GLOBAL GOVERNANCE AND HUMAN SECURITY at UMASS Boston, and the related IGERT program in Coasts and Communities: https://www.umb.edu/academics/mgs/crhsgg/grad/globalgov_phd
In short, my colleagues and I very much hope that you will pass this information on to your best Masters students (alumni or graduating this academic year), interested in aspects of global governance and human security. Students with environment and resources interests are welcomed and encouraged to apply – and they should also look at the information about the Coasts and Communities IGERT. But the program accepts and funds PhD study in a host of global and human security issues beyond those associated with the environment. Students with Masters degrees in a wide variety of disciplines and topics will be considered. Prospective students from the US and elsewhere are welcome, and they can email me for more information or questions after reviewing the information online. Cheers, Stacy D.
