Dear Colleagues, If any of you and/or your students are working on any kind of mercury-related issues from the local to the global, I strongly encourage you to submit an abstract to the 2017 Mercury Conference that will be held in Providence, RI next summer (July 16-21). The deadline for submitting an abstract is December 15th.
http://mercury2017.com/participate/call-for-abstracts/ The conference will attract a large number of people from across the natural and social sciences, so it will be a great place to make connections, exchange ideas, and receive valuable comments and feedback on your presented work and your research more broadly. I’m on the Scientific Steering Committee and I will also be co-chairing one of the sessions. As such, I would warmly welcome participation by people in the gep-ed community and beyond who work on various mercury-related issues across areas of international relations, law, political science, public policy, environmental studies, history, economics, public health etc. Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions.
