I am recruiting for a postdoctoral position to work on a 3-year NASA funded 
project examining the impact of tree plantations on rural livelihoods in

Briefly, we are looking for someone with a PhD in the natural resource 
social sciences, broadly conceived, experience with some of the several 
research techniques we will be using in the project (e.g. remote sensing, 
household livelihood surveys, ethnography, etc.), as well as project and 
fieldwork management skills and comfort working in a remote area of a 
developing country for several months. The expected start date is in May 
2017, and I will begin reviewing applications on March 6th. Please pass
