Professor of Environmental Policy at ETH Zurich

The Department of Environmental Systems Science

Humanities, Social and Political Sciences 
(www.gess.ethz.ch<https://www.gess.ethz.ch/en/>) at ETH Zurich invite 
applications for the above-mentioned position.

The successful candidate should have an excellent publication record in social 
science and interdisciplinary research, focusing on design, implementation, and 
outcomes of policy instruments to address environmental problems, including the 
role of political institutions. The new professor will focus on land-use 
change, terrestrial resource allocation, water allocation and quality, or 
environmental issues associated with urban and regional development. Teaching 
will contribute to the social science curriculum in Environmental Sciences, 
with an emphasis on analyzing the drivers and outcomes of public policies. 
Generally, at ETH Zurich undergraduate level courses are taught in German or 
English and graduate level courses are taught in English.

statement of future research and teaching interests, a description of the three 
most important achievements*, and the contact details of three referees. The
